Project Manager/Estimator [Civil]

Job Duties

Growing Site Excavation company seeks qualified candidate.
Project Management

Position includes:

  • Managing civil engineered projects, WISDOT, WISBOA, to include scheduling and sub contractor coordination
  • Bidding and estimating. Working with an estimator to assist in negotiations with landowners, completing take-offs (digitizing and AutoCAD).
  • Checking quantities – taking field measurements and comparing them to the engineers measurements

Qualifications

– Civil or Environmental Engineer or working towards Associate or Bachelors Degree.
– Prefer experience working with WISDOT and WISBOA.
– Quick thinker, able to communicate effectively, user of Excel, Word, Outlook, MSProject, AutoCAD, and TopCon GPS User a plus.

Project Engineer Intern [Civil]

Pay Range: $15-$18 Hourly
Full-Time Openings: None

Job Duties

Growing Site Excavation company seeks Project Engineer Intern.

Position includes:

  • Tracking construction bid items and quantities
  • Assist Project Manager and work closely with field foreman
  • Track daily aggregate totals for QMP, and aggregate supplies
  • Maintain Quad Truck movement, and paperwork
  • Work with State of the Art GPS System, all aspects

Qualifications

– Civil or Environmental Engineer or working towards Associate or Bachelors Degree.
– Prefer experience working with WISDOT  and WISBOA.

Grading Foreman

Pay Range: Starting $34.69+ hrly
Full-Time Openings:  None

Job Duties

Experienced Heavy Highway Grading Foreman
Position includes:

  • Seeking experience grading foreman candidate who is willing to work hard, long hours during summer construction season. Construction projects include working on roadways and airports.
  • Must be organized, able to forecast project needs and staging, and possess a positive attitude.
  • Work with crews of 10-15 persons, coordinate, and give direction.
  • Work effectively and direct sub contractors.
  • Work with heavy construction equipment, such as graders, bulldozers, excavators, compressors, pumps, buckets, tractors, or front-end loaders.

Qualifications

– Minimal 5 years as Heavy Construction Grading Foreman

Diesel Mechanic Heavy Equipment (experienced)

Pay Range: $33+ hourly

Job Duties

•Repair and maintain several types of heavy power construction equipment.
(Excavators, Haul Trucks, Dozers, Loaders, Rollers, Skidsteers)
•Troubleshoot maintenance issues
•Weld, repair, and general maintenance

 Qualifications

Minimal 3 years Diesel Mechanic on Heavy Construction Equipment
•Ability to travel  – home weekends.
•Provide your own tools
•Valid & Clean Drivers License (CDL A preferred but not necessary)
•Work independently and self motivated
•Use a computer or smartphone

GPS/Machine Control Specialist

Pay Range: $50,000 + Based on Experience

Survey Technician
Position includes:

  • Build GPS models with Business Center Software
  • Create civil construction “take-offs”
  • Train field crew on correct use of GPS
  • Maintain GPS Equipment Inventory
  • Assist Estimating team
  • Update construction plans with Bluebeam Software
  • Survey and Stake as needed
  • Calibration of site
  • Setting grade
  • Perform site topography
  • Create ECIP’s

Qualifications

– Civil of Environmental Engineer or working towards Associate or Bachelors Degree.
